A Fact We Must Face.
Many federal legislators are friends of Big Pharma. In exchange for personal profits, these legislators take actions intended to deny
US citizens free choices in
matters of health. Some of these legislators boldly use their
influence and their knowledge of the legislative system to try to deprive us of natural methods of protecting our health;
others try to sneak legislation by embedding it deeply in complex and
lengthy bills.
If they succeed,
our future is ominous: We'll be enslaved to Big Pharma's drugs to try to control the illnesses
we'll develop from our
lost natural health protections.
A legislator who has notoriously sold his soul to the devil of Big
Pharma is California's Representative Henry Waxman. He seems intent on depriving us
of health freedoms. As
patient advocate Bette Dowdell has noted, Waxman attempts to sneak
anti-dietary supplement legislation deep into the back pages of unrelated
legislation. In my opinion, these actions of his are devious and unscrupulous,
and such actions are diabolical in their
potential harm to people.
You can easily learn of stealth attacks on our health freedoms by legislators such as Waxman. The weight of the citizenry's
opinions have many times blocked insidious actions
against our freedoms.
Choose one or both of these activist groups and join. They'll let you know when it's time to notify your legislators
that you oppose the freedom-denying legislation. I personally thank you for taking an active
part.
It has been some forty years that the endocrinology
specialty has promoted T4 replacement—utterly without reasonable compromise—as the
only safe and effective thyroid hormone therapy. Clinicians in other
specialties have been grievously misled by opinion makers within the
endocrinology specialty. These other specialists comply with the endocrine
specialty's diagnostic guidelines either from misplaced trust or intimidation.
Hence, they, like the endocrinology specialty,
restricted their hypothyroid patients to T4 replacement, which studies have
shown leave many patients ill and disabled.

These other clinicians have based their sole use of T4
replacement on a presumption: that the endocrinology specialty has been
scientifically and ethically responsible. As I've shown in numerous
publications, this is a patently false presumption.
It's no secret that today, the endocrinology specialty has its
heels dug in. It tenaciously promotes T4 replacement, using the TSH test as the only legitimate method for accurately diagnosing and
effectively treating hypothyroid patients. The belief that T4 replacement is
safe and effective enough to be the standard treatment is simply an institutionalized falsehood.
The time has come for liberation from the endocrine specialty's commercially-based endorsement
of T4 replacement. The shackles of T4 replacement must—on humanitarian
grounds—be broken. Patients must be freed of illness, suffering, disability,
and premature death that is the legacy of T4 replacement.

may expedite the liberation of patients. To this end, we need a

(1) Sign up at the World Thyroid Register, founded by Gordon Skinner,
MD, DSc, eminent UK virologist.
Dr. Skinner developed the Skinner vaccine to protect against the
virulent staph infection called MRSA. Later, he studied fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue
syndrome. In doing so, he and his colleagues learned that instead of a viral infection, the condition was caused by too little thyroid hormone regulation.
To use Dr. Skinner's concept, the condition is caused by clinical
hypothyroidism despite in-range thyroid function test results.

Dr. Skinner has courageously stood tall
in the face of persecution by the UK’s notorious General Medical Council (GMC). The GMC is a UK agency that
presumably protects the UK population from unfit physicians.
Too often, however, in my view, the GMC serves as a thug agency to
persecute physicians who have rescued patients from the adverse
effects of T4 replacement.

You are a counterexample if (a) you’ve continued to suffer from hypothyroid symptoms
while using T4-only therapy, and (b)
your symptoms improved or disappeared once you switched to a thyroid hormone product containing T3.
It doesn’t matter whether the T3-containing product
is synthetic or natural. The objective of the Register of Counterexamples is to draw the
